Last updated: 2026-06-20
Acceptance
By creating or using a Capcreds account, you agree to these terms and to the way Capcreds handles information as described in this notice. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the signed-in parts of the service.
Who may use Capcreds
You must be at least 13 years old to use Capcreds. If the law where you live requires a higher age for online services, you must meet that higher age. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials private and for activity that occurs through your account.
Your account and public activity
Your public profile may show your username, display name, profile number, and any profile details you choose to add. Posts, comments, replies, actions, community content, echoes, and other material you publish may be visible to other users or the public depending on where you post it.
Do not publish information that you do not have the right to share. Do not rely on Capcreds for emergency help, legal advice, financial advice, employment advice, medical advice, or other professional advice.
News, scores, and third-party content
Capcreds may display news links, article summaries, excerpts, entity pages, scores, and community reactions. News articles and linked third-party materials belong to their original publishers or owners. Capcreds may use automated tools to summarize, organize, or enrich information, and those outputs can be incomplete or incorrect.
Scores, labels, sparks, comments, pledges, and other community signals are opinions, participation data, or platform-generated summaries. They are not official findings of fact. See how scoring works for more context.
Communities and organizing
Capcreds includes communities and tools for organizing actions. You are responsible for judging the risks of participating, especially in workplace, political, or other sensitive contexts. Capcreds may offer privacy features, but no online service can guarantee anonymity or protection from every consequence. See your privacy and safety for practical guidance.
Prohibited conduct
You may not use Capcreds to harass people, threaten violence, dox someone, impersonate others, spam, manipulate scores, break into the service, scrape the service in abusive ways, upload malware, violate intellectual property rights, or use the service for unlawful conduct.
Moderation and account action
Capcreds may remove content, limit distribution, restrict features, suspend accounts, or terminate accounts when we believe it is needed to protect users, the service, or the public. Moderation decisions may consider context, repeat behavior, safety risk, platform integrity, and legal obligations.
What Capcreds collects
Capcreds collects account information such as your email address, username, display name, authentication records, and profile details. It also stores the content and interactions you create, including posts, comments, replies, actions, communities, sparks, follows, Circle relationships, ignores, votes, moderation records, and admin actions.
If you add profile location information or location-related content, Capcreds may use it to show relevant feeds or nearby activity. Capcreds may also process technical information such as timestamps, device or browser information, logs, error reports, and security signals.
How Capcreds uses information
Capcreds uses information to operate accounts, display content, rank feeds, personalize relevant activity, prevent abuse, provide moderation tools, improve the service, send account or verification messages, and comply with legal obligations.
Service providers and sharing
Capcreds may use service providers for hosting, authentication, databases, email, analytics, security, news import, and automated content processing. These providers process information as needed to help run the service. Capcreds may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer.
Retention, deletion, and security
Capcreds keeps information as long as reasonably needed to operate the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, enforce rules, and comply with law. Some public or community content may remain visible after an account changes or closes unless removed by Capcreds or as required by law. Capcreds uses reasonable security measures, but no system is perfectly secure.
Changes
Capcreds may update these terms as the service changes. If changes are material, Capcreds may provide notice through the app or require users to agree to the updated version before continuing to use certain features.
Contact
Questions, privacy requests, legal notices, or safety reports can be sent through the reporting tools in the app or to the contact address Capcreds makes available for support.
